Andrew
Wyeth at the Chadds Ford
Gallery
Andrew Newell Wyeth (July 12, 1917 – January 16, 2009) is one of the most popular American painters of the twentieth-century.
Primarily a realist painter, he was sometimes referred to as the
"Painter of the People," due to his work's popularity with the
American public. In his art, Wyeth's favorite subjects were the land and people around him, both in his hometown of Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania, and at his summer home in Cushing, Maine.
Chadds Ford Gallery's 40 year history with the Wyeth family means we have the largest selection of Andrew Wyeth reproductions anywhere including open and signed limited editions. We also do
appraisals and will even find out of print works for customers. |
